Christopher Colasanti joined Jaros, Baum & Bolles in 2003 and has served as an Associate since 2008. Mr. Colasanti brings over 13 years of experience in design and project management to Jaros Baum & Bolles. During his time at the firm, he has led the design of multiple large-scale projects in New York City such as the NYU Langone Medical Center master plan, cogeneration plant integration, and Kimmel Pavilion, the Museum of Modern Art expansion, Bank of America at One Bryant Park, and most recently the Shops and Restaurants at Hudson Yards.
Mr. Colasanti has worked on offices and trading facilities for leading financial institutions in New York City such as Bank of America’s corporate headquarters located at One Bryant Park, Fir Tree Partner’s offices at 505 Fifth Avenue and Wachovia’s trading floor in Tower 49. Mr. Colasanti also brings experience in the healthcare sector with completed projects for medical facilities such as NYU Langone Medical Center’s Kimmel Pavilion, Energy Building, Radiation Oncology, Tisch Hospital laboratories, campus master planning and infrastructure upgrades. JB&B has utilized Mr. Colasanti’s experience for data center facilities, including Goldman Sach’s data centers in Brooklyn and New Jersey, as well as Morgan Stanley’s data center located at 1 New York Plaza.
Mr. Colasanti earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York, a LEED Accredited Professional, a Certified Energy Auditor of the Association of Energy Engineers, and a member of the Advisory Group for the Council on Tall Buildings in Urban Habitat.
