David currently serves as the COO for CARROLL, a national real estate investment company. He believes people are one of CARROLL’s greatest assets and looks to constantly challenge the organization in its path to be the best for its partners, investors and residents. He oversees the operational, managerial and support positions for the company to ensure the effective placement and management of processes, technology and data to empower the company to achieve its business objectives.
Earlier in his career, David spent a combined eight years at EY and Houlihan Lokey where he provided and led financial advisory assignments for clients in multiple industries and for various purposes (M&A, corporate planning, tax, litigation, etc.) as well as performing transactional due diligence and working capital advisory projects. Upon moving to AirServ Corporation as a Sr. Strategic Finance Director reporting to the COO, David supported the operation of a 25-Airport region. 8/17/2019 – 8/23/2019
Immediately prior to joining CARROLL, David was a leader in the Strategy and Operations practice for Slalom Consulting, supporting efforts around client financial analyses and performance, the impact of changing technology on finance and the business, data and BI business needs, among others.
David is a graduate of the UGA Terry School of Business with a BBA in Finance and the UGA Institute for Leadership Advancement – Leadership Certificate. He is a 2012 graduate of the LEAD Atlanta Leadership Program, a former member of the Sandy Springs Conservancy and an Eagle Scout. He also serves as an appointee by the Governor of the State of Georgia to the Board of Commissioners for the Georgia Student Finance Commission representing Georgia’s 11th Congressional District.
