Josh is the Director of Housing and Community Development with the City of Atlanta. He started his career as a grassroots community organizer advocating for economic justice and better cities in Los Angeles and New York City. In his time as an organizer, Josh came to see the vital roles that city planning and public policy play in the lives of residents. Josh moved to Atlanta in 2018 to lead neighborhood Economic Development efforts with the City before becoming the Interim Director. In this role, Josh is working to implement new policies and initiatives that will increase the quantity, diversity, and affordability of Atlanta’s housing stock.
